TACT

Teens Affecting Communities Today (TACT) links teen volunteers with community and local organizations to provide meaningful community service experiences. At least once Saturday each month, TACT will choose a project to complete as a team. This group is open to any local junior high or high school students as well local organizations seeking teen volunteers.

Projects can include

  • Neighborhood cleanup
  • Community beautification
  • Painting and cleaning
  • Organizing a community dinner
  • Helping with a food drive
  • Helping with a community event
  • Anything that the group decides to do!

What are the benefits of TACT?
Gain meaningful experiences & leadership skills. Each project will give teens a chance to be a “project leader”. Project Leaders will be responsible for organizing materials and teams to complete each task.
Make an impact in the community and give community service a good name.
TACT gives teens the opportunity to become familiar with local organizations and community groups.
Looks great on a resume!
