Youth Development Program - Provides a variety of services for youth ages 6 to 18, at this location and in schools throughout the community. The Youth Development Program is focused on providing youth with the opportunity to learn valuable life skills. In addition to sports and recreation, it offers arts and crafts, a computing lab, help with homework, alcohol/drug abuse prevention education and after school care for elementary children. Hispanic Outreach Program/Food Pantry - Living paycheck to paycheck is a reality for many people. And when something happens and they fall behind, many don't have resources to help them through the difficult times. They risk losing their housing or getting their utilities turned off. The Emergency Services Program is designed to assist people get back on their feet. Hispanic Outreach Services are designed to ensure that Spanish-speaking residents are able to access needed resources in the community. To learn more about this program, click here.

Child Abuse Prevention Program - The goal of the Child Abuse Prevention Program of the Community and Family Resource Center is to teach children how to keep themselves safe from child abuse. By educating children, the program helps to stop abuse before it starts. Education is done through fun and interactive puppet performances. Family Preservation Program - The Family Preservation Program operating from the South Side Community Center is a program aimed at helping to strengthen families in crisis. The staff of bachelor degreed professionals, offer support to families by working with the parents in the home or in the community through case management services, interactive supervised visitation, and/or safe exchanges. 8/14/08-Welcome New BCW Case Manager: The Community and Family Resource Center would like to welcome Joni Taylor, a new Case Manager for the Babies Can’t Wait Program. The Babies Can’t Wait program is an intensive case management program designed to break the cycle of addiction in parents and to facilitate the bond between child and parent during early childhood development. Joni Taylor has case management experience and has been a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) in Idaho. She has spent some time in Ecuador and speaks fluent Spanish. Joni is a welcomed addition to the Babies Can’t Wait program.
8/8/08-IFCU "Fill the Bus" for Head Start: It is back to school time already! IFCU has teamed up with Head Start to "Fill the Bus" with school supplies needed in the Head Start classrooms. Stop by any IFCU today to drop off your donation. Boxes will be picked up on August 15th. Thank you for your support!
