Kids on the Block educational puppet shows are an unforgettable experience for elementary school students. The "kids" vividly and effectively model relationships between people through frank and humorous communication. Scripted performances focus on physical or sexual abuse. After each performance the nearly child-size "kids" encourage questions from the audience. Teachers/group leaders are provided with follow-up materials for suggestions on activities to help children more fully understand the information presented during the shows.

Happy Bear and his teacher travel to preschools and day care centers to educate children about sexual abuse. Through a lively, interactive performance, Happy and his teacher instruct 3, 4 and 5 year olds about good touch, bad touch and touches that are "mixed up." Happy uses his bathing suit to demonstrate where private parts are located. Children learn to say NO! if someone wants to touch their private parts and who to tell if someone gives them a "mixed up" touch. Happy can also talk to preschoolers about strangers and how to protect them from people they don't know
