Spanish speaking residents in
the community often experience difficulty accessing needed resources in
the community because of the language barrier. This can result in families
being unable to get needed identification papers, employment and medical
assistance. Hispanic Outreach offers culturally sensitive bi-lingual caseworkers.
These caseworkers work with Latino families to provide translation; case
management and guidance in attaining Indiana state identification cards.
Caseworkers accompany families to other locations throughout the community
to assist them in accessing needed resources.
